The staff, members, and Board of Governors of the International Quranic Open University (IQOU) and Muslims of the Americas (MOA) were shocked to read the false accusations, slander and mudslinging spewed by the Zionist media through the 700 club on Wednesday, September 19, 2007.
ABC fm aired the 700Club program- hosted by Pat Robertson and produced by CBN. A segment of the program that aired was devoted solely to the distorted of truth. The vicious attack targeted the Muslims of the America, and the Vice Chancellor of IQOU El Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani- who is most often referred to as ‘father’ by his dedicated followers. For almost 30 years El Sheikh has toiled to reform, educate and remove his followers from the Inner cities where anti-social activities were prevalent.
Under El Sheiks tutelage, his followers learned how to, and were encouraged to, expend finances, purchase real estate, and establish modest villages that thousands now reside upon in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. Fortunately, residents of Islamberg in upstate rural New York (est. 1982), and those other villages have been able to live amicably with neighbors avoiding acts of violence, religious bigotry, and hatred. No doubt, El Sheikh, members of IQOU and MOA should be commended for the Impressive manner in which they have borne, with dignity, the heavily trumped up allegations hurled at them that range from false to ridiculous.
Initially, the Zionist media tried without success to link Richard Reid, the ’shoe bomber’ to MOA. However, the story was quickly dispelled when Richard Reid stated in court testimony (carried by mainstream media) that he acted alone. Once Richard Reid became useless to their scheme he became mysteriously absent from media attention.
Obsessed with their hatred of El Sheikh, IQOU and MOA the Zionist conspirators devised a plot to involve El Sheikh in the Daniel Pearl fiasco which also had no merit and fell on its face when the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Supreme Court of Pakistan absolved El Sheik of any involvement in the case. Grabbing for straws they tried their best to connect the DC sniper, John Allen Muhammad with El Sheikh, and that too failed. Common sense dictates that if there was any evidence to the contrary, both local and federal law enforcement agencies would have initiated an investigation leading to charges and a trial.
In lieu of the above, the next logical question cannot be avoided. Who are these culprits who think they know more than U.S. law enforcement and what are they actually trying to accomplish? A clear example of this iniquity is exposed in an excerpt from an opinion leader in his field, Colonel Donn De Grand Pre, a former Pentagon Arms associate who stated,
“We are at war and have been unceasingly since 1933. The major problem is that we don’t realize it. We have become so accustomed to being under-siege by the enemy within that we don’t realize that we are in fact in a war to the death. The enemy within now dominates 6 of the 7 M’s; money, media, markets, medical, mind, and morals. He desperately seeks the 7th M – Muscle; embodied in our military; and its primary function, to defend our constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That muscle has been slowly and systematically sabotaged by thrusting the military into UN wars of attrition- no win wars of both psychological and physical defeat as planned by that group of amorphous, self aggrandizing and self-promoting One Worlders’ who are slowly, slowly strangling us and our freedom with the binding chains of despotic world government. Thus began what many knowledgeable historians call, ‘the Jewish Century.’”
Likewise, mass media outlets controlled and operated by Zionists’ gleefully perpetrate lies and falsehood whenever possible about Muslims worldwide and in the U.S. in particular. If one were to believe these lies it would be virtually impossible to believe that anything other than violence is propagated by, or results from, Al Islam. With this phobia being promoted by a media saturated with hatred for Islam and Muslims, it has become increasingly unsafe for Muslims in America. The foiled plots of the Zionist have lifted the veils of both Muslims and Christians and the tactic of waging war, “By way of Deception”, have been revealed. With this fact in mind one must remain vigilant and not fall prey to the repetition of the Zionist lies and propaganda.
The entire world is also watching as Syed Pervez Musharraf Shah (a man who is single handedly fighting Wahabi and Zionist terrorist) is attacked by media falsely accusing him of harboring Osama Bin Laden and aiding the Taliban.
The purpose of the false accusations of the Zionist Media is meant not only to character assassinate, but also to keep repeating false accusations against Pakistan the way FOX News kept accusing Iraq of harboring WMD and continued doing so to such an extent that the U.S. justified their attack on Iraq, whom the Zionist declared as their enemy. This same nefarious group destroyed the WTC in order to have some pretext to attack Afghanistan and other sovereign nations.
Ignoring the publicly aired statements of U.S. State Department Security Officer Randall Bennet (an officer assigned to Karachi during the disappearance of the journalist) released on June 24, 2007, which reads: “He (the real suspect) had set it up where he had given Danny information and promised this interview with Sheikh Gilani. Sheikh Gilani, as it turned out, had no idea his (Sheikh Gilani’s) name was even being used”, the 700 Club’s broadcast (released four months later) actually contradicts the testimony of those experts employed by the U.S. government to protect the nation and their citizens from media terrorism.

The Zionist tactic is simple, an age old strategy of manufacturing terror against their secondary enemy in the name of their primary enemy thus pitting one side against the other, accomplishing the destruction of both their enemies. With this in mind it is evident who the “real terrorist are” and this finding collaborates with the ideas of Paul Findley and Colonel Grand Pre, whose views state it was necessary to manufacture terrorism in order for the powers that be too readily and openly attack and violate Muslim countries.
Considering this high-ended puppetry and misrepresentation, none should believe a single word, or image for that matter, coming from electronic media unless and until it is heavily supported and proven.
“The 911 activity and horrific destruction of U.S. property and lives was intentionally meant to trigger a psychological and patriotic reaction on the part of the U. The strategy by mainstream media was simple; utilize Richard Reid and the DC sniper, two unknowns, to develop a premise to destroy Christian/Muslim dialogue and cooperation. They desire to bring about a clash of civilizations by targeting the most prolific American Muslim organization and its eminent leader.
These Zionist decoys intentionally avoided mentioning that MOA boy scouts who arrived at Ground Zero within 24 hours of the tragedy worked diligently to assist in the rescue and relief effort. The humanitarian efforts of IQOU and MOA during the Hurricane Katrina disaster, the Tsunami horror, the Southeast Asia earthquake of 2005, the flooding of Upstate New York in 2006 are also avoided by the controlled media.
Fortunately, the false accusations are unable to erase the messages of peace that have been diligently spread by the staff and students of both IQOU and MOA. It is clear that unlike any other Muslim group in America, MOA has been the choice ‘favorite’ for those who seek to gain acclaim by subjugating a group of innocents’ to the snowball effect of this new demonization of Muslims that has taken the world, and particularly America by storm.
The potent point that must be driven home is that Islam and Christianity are two aspects of the same reality. Out of all religions, these two have the most in common. “The Zionists are also most unhappy with Muslims throughout the world. This is because the plan to destroy the Muslim faith that worked so well for the Jews with regard to the Christian faith has largely failed. The Zionist worked hard to get Muslims to migrate into many Western nations, the plan being that they would forget their religious beliefs and become nothing but consumers of Zionist owned products, services and governments, like the majority of white’s Christian world. However, the majority of Muslims maintained their religious faith and formed their own communities within these western nations, failing to fall into the Zionist trap, like the Christians. The Zionists’ decide this means the Muslims have to be destroyed, and they decide they’ll get the Christians to do the job for them.” (Hitchcock, 251).
Unfortunately, media terrorists’ are pointing fingers at law abiding good citizens to distract the masses from the real hidden agendas.
In an effort to continue telling the same lies, the media runs the same stories in hopes of brainwashing the masses. Likewise, as stated in Holy Quran, “Closest to you (Muslims) in nearness and affection you will find are those who say we are Nazarene (the followers of Jesus of Nazareth),” (Surah Maida, 84).
The greatest fear of these Zionist is to see Muslims and Christians joining hands because they will be singled out as the common enemy, a process which has already started as the world realizes that they are the true terrorist who manufacture terror in order to realize their objective, world domination under the Satanic rule of the New World Order.
Rather than becoming a victim of this intricate scheme the public should demand to know what happened to the 4,000 Jews that were conveniently absent from work at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
It should be questioned why the media uses invalidated ‘think tanks’ and bogus ‘intelligence agencies’ instead of Federal and State law enforcement arms of U.S. government? Why do so-called respectable organizations (700 Club) use shadowy figures to substantiate their baseless claims?

El Sheikh’s aged father and mother passed away from shock after the attack on their prestige and the immeasurable loss of property all occurring when these false accusations were laid before them. In particular, El Sheikh’s aged and ill father, who is a founding father of Pakistan, could not withstand the severity of the attack and baseless lies.

The American Muslims live in wholesome villages much like the Mennonites of the Midwest. Yet, there was a recent call by radical news outlets to bomb these villages which are now being termed ‘compounds’. What about the compounds that these Blackwater mercenaries are training on? Their initial 7,000 acre location is crawling with privately trained unofficial police with all manner of heavy artillery one could imagine.
My followers love their homes and properties. They have more facilities of life in their country, more than any other Muslims in the world. They also built their country with both hands. Most have served their country, quite well. However, this ‘witch hunting’, false accusations, and threats to bomb their homes are reason for concern in regard for their safety.
I have encouraged them to find employment and business opportunities in other countries around the world. I am also personally appealing to heads of Islamic states to accommodate the oppressed American Muslims.
As a result, the International Quranic Open University and its Vice Chancellor have taken measures to bring a 50 million dollar libel suit against such sources that have, and intend to continue, such senseless defamation of character.
Members of the Muslims of Americas community have made statements regarding this hate campaign.
“We have worked very hard to keep ourselves and our communities in a condition that is not only morally upstanding, but a condition that would inspire other communities as well.” Another member further stated that the community would not sit idly by while others tried to bring them harm. “We have built our lives here and invest in the lives of our children and future generations.
This is our country, and we are Americans with rights to peace in our own homeland. We also know that the Almighty Creator is very just and fair. He has already started separating truth from falsehood.” So far, the community has been quite diligent in defending their sterling image as ideal citizens.
Historical and Irrefutable Evidence put forth by Prominent U.S. citizens
Exposing Conspiracy, acts of Terrorism, Genocide and Spying by the Zionist World Order
Concerned U.S. citizens are accumulating historical evidence which exposes the Zionist World Order that seems to control the U.S. Government.
In addition to finding no historical comparison of a long list of such horrendous acts of genocide, it is evident that these sources have targeted Muslims and Christians by inciting a clash of civilizations in an attempt to divide and conquer.
By weakening both Muslims and Christians the way is paved for complete world domination.
It is impossible to list the many Zionist crimes committed against the U.S., however there are a few incidences that should not be forgotten.
1. Deceptive Israeli/Palestinian Conflict: In 1967 the treatment of the Palestinians by the Jews finally ignites enough anger in the Arab world for Egypt, Jordan, and Syria to mobilize on Israel’s borders.
All of these three countries were suddenly attacked by Israel and as a result, the Sinai, which included Gaza, is stolen from Egypt, and the West Bank and the Jordan River stolen from Jordan.
As a result of this, on June 8, 1967 the Israelis launch an attack on the U.S.S. Liberty with Israel aircraft and motor torpedo boats in an effort to blame it on Egypt, to bring America into the war on their side, and of course follow to the letter, their Mossad motto “By Way Of Deception, Thou Shalt Do War.” As a result of their attack, 34 American servicemen were killed and 174 wounded. Israel lies as usual, claiming it mistook this warship that was flying a large United States flag, for an ancient out of service Egyptian horse carrier El Quseir that was incidentally 180 feet shorter.
They claimed the ship was in the war zone, when it was actually in international waters, far from any fighting. The Israelis’ attack on this warship lasted for seventy-five minutes during which time they shot one of the United States flags, resulting in the sailors desperately raising another one. The Israelis also machine gun the lifeboats the Americans deployed in order to prevent them escaping, yet another war crime.
The purpose of this attack was to create and instigate hatred between Arabs and Americans.
In the aftermath of this attack, the American sailors who survived were warned by the United States military not to discuss this with anyone due to national security. A naval tribunal was set up to investigate the incident but it was not allowed to investigate whether the attack was deliberate, a subject which is left off their remit. United States Senators and Congressmen are warned not to raise the subject for fear of inciting anti-Semitism.
The story, of course, receives no prominence in Rothschild controlled mainstream media and as usual Israel is in no way even rebuked for their crimes by their subservient country of America (Hitchcock, 179).
2. “The Lavon Affair”: In 1954 Israeli agents recruited Egyptian citizens of Jewish descent to bomb Western (American) targets in Egypt, and plant evidence to frame Arabs, in an apparent attempt to upset American/Egyptian relations. Israeli Defense Minister, Ashkenazi Jew, Pinhas Lavon is eventually removed from office. This is the first known use of Jews who look like Arabs being used by the Jews to carry out terrorist attacks that they blame on the Arabs (Hitchcock, 164). This incident of course calls to mind recent events like 9/11. Reports of the ties of the Israeli men who were jovially videotaping the burning of the buildings, and who were first mistaken for Arabs, but when identified (due to a van in their possession that contained multiple passports) were sent back to Israel after the Israeli Ambassador visited and arranged for their release.
3. Manipulating Population Growth: On December 10, 1974 the United States National Security Council under Henry Kissinger completed a classified 200 page study entitled, National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests,” (NSSM 200). The study falsely claims that population growth in the so-called Lesser Developed Countries is a grave threat to U.S. National Security and it outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in those countries through birth control, war, and famine.
4. World Control: In the book, “Tragedy & Hope: A History of the World in Our Time” published this year, Carroll Quigley states, “There does exist…an international network whose aim is to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world.”
5. Worshipping Lucifer: In 1976 Ashkenazi Jew, Harold Rosenthal, aide to fellow Ashkenazi Jew, Senator Jacob Javits, states, “Most Jews do not like to admit it, but our god is Lucifer” (Hitchcock, 188).

In the February/March issue of the Islamic Post, I mentioned it is by the Will of Allah (SWT) that any medications we consume are effective. The following article is an account of the story our beloved Murshid told me to this effect. It should also be said that this story had a profound effect on my perspective of the practice of medicine.
On our weekends off, the American Muslims Medical Relief Team (AMMRT) would sometimes visit the campus of the IQOU.
On one such occasion, the V.C. of the University began telling my companion, Bashir, and I about the significance of the work the AMMRT was performing in Pakistan. Next, he told us to work diligently and to earnestly treat all patients presented to us no matter their race, creed, religion, or economic status (which was an important determinant in the type of care one received in the hospital we worked).
He then told us of a medical mission he had gone on at the request of one of his childhood friends, who happened to be a medical doctor. They went to many villages and dispensed much needed medications and medical care to many of the inhabitants. As they worked, they conversed about many topics, one of which was antibiotics.
At this same time—and unannounced to the medical doctor—there was a Jinn doctor present who asked the V.C. to tell his companion, “The only reason any of these medications work is by the Will of Allah (SWT).”
His friend rolled his eyes in disbelief and said, “The medications work because of the mechanism of action on the specific receptors that the drug is intended for.” The Jinn doctor asked the V.C. to ask his friend, “If you were to get sick right now, would your antibiotics cure you?” The doctor said, “Of course they will!”
IMMEDIATELY, the doctor became sick… experiencing high fever, headache, cough (with phlegm), and red eyes. He quickly became so sick he could not get out of bed. He began to self-treat himself with antibiotics. Day after day, he was popping antibiotics “like they were candy.” By day ten, he hadn’t noticed any change in his symptoms.

At this point, the Jinn doctor asked the V.C. to ask the doctor, “Would you like to get better?” The doctor responded in the affirmative. The Jinn doctor requested the V.C. to tell his friend, “Eat the grass off the ground for your cure is in it.” At this point, the exhausted doctor acquiesced and began eating the grass off the ground. IMMEDIATELY, he felt better and his symptoms began to disappear—the fever subsided, the cough stopped, and his eyes cleared up.
At this point, the V.C. repeated the initial claim, “You see, the only reason any medication works is by the Will of Allah.” After hearing this story, I was quite perplexed. I had learned that drug receptors, mechanisms of drug action, bacteria, and other chemical means were the reason medicines work. Now, I find out all that has nothing to do with it.
This does, however, explain how you could have 10 people with the same exact condition, taking the same exact drug, and the drug may not work in four or five of those people. With antibiotics specifically, two patients can be infected with the same bacteria and the antibiotic initially prescribed, quite often, has no effect on one of those patients.
Usually, many patients will end up taking two to four different antibiotics over the course of their illness. As a doctor, I realized just how powerless I am.
I realized I am only effective within the confines of the immutable laws of the One Creator Allah (SWT) and the only reason any intervention that I may institute works is if Allah means for it to work.
So, when we get sick and run to the doctor, remember… the doctor is not the means by which we are cured. His medications won’t work unless they are meant to work for us at that particular time. Remember that healing ONLY occurs by the Divine Will of Allah (SWT).

Would you give yourself a daily dose of cocaine? You know a spoonful in the morning, perhaps a little with lunch, a bit for dinner, and a sizable helping for dessert? Well, if you
use sugar (white sugar in particular) in any form, you are using the near equivalent of cocaine. It is then fair to say that you are an addict. Challenge yourself to remove sugar from your diet for 5, 7, or even 10 days. You will find yourself experiencing withdrawal symptoms such as moodiness and irritability, lightheadedness and dizziness. You may also find yourself blaming everyone around you for silly things. What are you going to do when you can no longer handle this, eat more sugar to make everything alright again?
Most people living in Western Societies (U.S., Canada, UK, etc.) are truly addicted to sugar. Sugar is used as a form of self medication that temporarily boosts mood and energy. Try
it yourself; put a bit of white sugar on your tongue or eat your favorite candy or sugary snack food. Take note of the feeling of comfort that you feel, which is why foods that contain sugar are often referred to as comfort foods. Sugar acts much like cocaine on the human body.
The chemical breakdown of cocaine and sugar are quite similar. Dr. David Reuben, author of Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Nutrition says, “white refined sugar is not a food. It is a pure chemical extract from plant sources; its true name is sucrose and its chemical formula is C12H22O11”. This means that it has 12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogen atoms and 11 oxygen atoms. The chemical formula of cocaine is C17H21NO4. Look very closely at these numbers. The only difference is that cocaine contains the “N” or nitrogenatom.
How is something “natural” made into something dangerous? Now take into consideration all of the information presented, and ask yourself the question, Am I an Addict?

In many industrialized societies today, the concept of God in medicine is not only insignificant, but in most instances it’s not even recognized; So much so that in most medical discussions, the mere mention of God’s name renders any theory unscientific as well as causes invalidation of any information that the mentioner may present. Westernized healthcare is at the point where God has become a non-essential afterthought. Because it is Allah (SWT) who has created disease and any associated cure, when writing for the Islamic Post (IP) I feel it necessary to convey the importance of His remembrance in the practice of medicine. In all of my articles, I attempt to remind us of how our Lord is involved in our health; how it is He, we should not forget concerning these matters.
While researching for last month’s piece on Diabetes, I made a discovery in the book Osiris (Tibb-ul-Nabi (SAW), or Medicine of the Prophet). This text contained a saying of the ancient Greek physician, Hippocrates, that caused me to alter my perspective on my purpose for writing these articles.
Hippocrates (460-377 BC) who was considered a great doctor and teacher of medicine, was born in Kos, Greece. He was the author of many works, including an encyclopedia of medicine and surgery. He was believed to have created a set of moral and professional standards for physicians, and earned the title “Father of Medicine.” He is also the reason for the “Hippocratic Oath”, which is taken by most medical school students upon graduation.
According to Avicenna (better know as Ibn Sinna,author of Osiris), Hippocrates was known to have said the following in regards to the character of a doctor:“Upon the physician may there be the strengthening of Almighty God and obedience to Him and good council and a remembering of the secrets of disease.’ ‘Verily he shall not administer any deadly drug nor indicate it nor point one out.’ ‘He shall not administer to a woman any abortefacient.’ ‘He must be far from all pollution and defilement.’ ‘He must not look upon the women-folk.’ ‘He must not search for excesses, idleing away his time in pleasure, sleep, eating and drinking or in play.’ ‘But he must be eager to give treatment to the poor and to people of poverty.’ ‘He must be gentle of speech, soft in talk, and near to God.”
All this time I was convinced that my aim was to GET people to see Allah’s (SWT) role in medical practice, but in all actuality it could be that the foundation of western medicine was already based on this premise and I am actually trying to RETURN people to a former way of thinking. I believe that the “founder” of western medicine had the right idea and in our propagation of capitalism we have strayed away from this. I also believe that Hippocrates’ medical practices were inkeeping with that of our beloved Nabi Muhammad (SAW). Practitioners of healthcare—and patients alike—should reflect on this saying. Maybe then can we have a system of healthcare that is designed for truly curing people who are sick.
As I continue to write for the Islamic Post I know that I will reflect on this saying and WILL continue to remind people to take into account Allah’s (SWT) role in our approach to healthcare issues. NOW I will do so knowing that I am not trying to conceive a new idea but expound upon an idea that was established thousands of years ago. As always…only from Allah (SWT) can we be healed!

A Closer Look: Thriving American Muslim Community

I recently watched a weeklong series on PBS called “America at the Crossroads”. The reporting was standard fare for different aspects of the World Muslim Community living in the USA, viewed by those within the selected groups and without. On the evening they focused on the indigenous American Muslims, there were accounts from most every corner in every large city. As expected, there was no account from The Muslims of the Americas, the oldest in the country and largest. Some statistics say we’re 5 Million , some add 2 more…others say we’re 10 million. We say we’re the largest Islamic group in America to date.
What a shame for the world of intellects and scholars to be deprived of our rich Islamic culture having evolved over the past 30 years. I would think it would be very beneficial
towards their goal of reaching into the lives of American born Muslims (we, who know no other country or cultural background) to hear the story of our journey from the gross and vulgar, to the Islamic way of life that can and does bring out the best in society.
In the 60’s , when I embraced Al Islam , there were very few (openly) practicing Muslims on the streets of America. In Brooklyn New York, there was a place for Muslims to gather for Friday prayers but the women went into the building dressed as non- Muslims. Their Islamic attire was carried in, to be worn during the jumu’a prayer and a sermon which was in Arabic. All Khutbas are read in Arabic but the sermon should be understood in the language of the indigenous people, viz. English. People come together on Friday to learn how to live Islam , where ever their community. In became apparent that those who set up this place for religious education were content with their way of doing things despite the many challenging traditions from our Holy Nabi urging reform.
We were seen as troublesome for insisting that the basic sunnah practice should be complied with in letter and spirit. From this need, sprang the gathering of Muslims, in Brooklyn, to begin practicing Al-Islam on their own.
A few of these young people had studied Arabic for purposes beyond general use in salat and they read books to help hem understand how to set up an Islamic community. Unfortunately the books available were from Saudi Arabia and therefore Wahhabi in (mis)direction. We spent about ten years following what was taught in these books. The women dressed “lite” , especially for work and the men stayed home , having been rejected from the general work force for (as per the religious practice) wearing beards. In those days beards were a not accepted-in the blue collar workplace-without going to court first. Most chose to stay huddled together, studying whatever books were available and enjoying the welfare system, set up to entrap such of us, socially and we eventually began twisting and damaging the way of Al-Islam from the straight path.
The well-intended ’budding’ community had no way of knowing the troubled waters they were entering as they devised, arranged and filled in the strands of the community’s fabric.
I would think my fellow Americans would be very happy to know that we survived those days of misunderstandings and foolish meanderings and come through it all to have the Truth [Haqq] of Islam being taught and practiced generation after generation. They’d, naturally, be interested to know that our youth are smarter than their parents, as was the norm amongst the American communities until recently . You might ask, “How did we fall through the cracks of media reporting on the development of Muslims in America ? ” It’s clear they know we exist. There’s been no shortage of negative press in the recent past, so I ask, “Why are there no accounts of our survival and growth in education ? ”
Where are our noted professionals ? Does anyone wonder about the young ladies who grew up to be housewives first, then went on to pursue careers of their choice ? Surely, everyone did not do well, despite the overwhelming high expectations. Who knew, then, the mix of Islam and life as we knew it would be a toxic mix. It’s a wonder how we made it in light of the fact that Muslims from everywhere in the world have come to this country , mixed in, mingled and managed to be very quiet regarding the do’s and don’ts of Islam.

An Important and Unavoidable point
A number of press releases have, intentionally or not, posed highly incorrect and misleading information about Sheikh Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani and his students. He has, for the full three decades of teaching Muslims abroad, forbidden all forms of terrorism and injustice which subjugates any innocent man, woman, or child to oppression. He has taught his students to show, using Holy Qur’an and Hadith the reality of the unadulterated essence of Islam, which, as stated, provides the backbone for a peaceful, interpersonal, open-minded and cooperative way of life with all nations, races, and cultures. He has taught that the key for the West to return to upright moral value and the serene way of life it yearns is for Muslims to join hands with their Christian brethen under the umbrella of monotheism in efforts to continuously progress and improve.
The love he has preached for righteousness, impecible conduct, and continuous self improvement and discipline inspired the hearts of thousands of people in the United States, Canada, South America, Asia, and elsewhere to abandoned lives of sinfulness, materialism, and self-destruction. The exponential growth of his student base in these areas aroused a mysterious curiosity in the eyes of many. Several journalists and reporters rushed to interview him and his students. He, realizing the astonishment of the West to the growth of traditional Islam among its citizens, lived his life as an “open book,” and invited the inquiries. One such journalist is the infamous Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped en-route to aquire a visit the Sheikh. Upon hearing this, and that he was a prime suspect in the crime, he immediately went to the authorities to deter any consideration of his involvement. Within 15 minutes of being interviewed by the female FBI agent assigned to the case the investigator stated that ” we knew that Shiekh Gilani had nothing to do with the kidnapping”
Despite his unmistakable and irreproachable innocence, this accusation has drawn the attention of controversy mongers on blogs, personal websites, local radio shows and most recently a major movie production. The incident has been used as the basis for the defamation of his character and the integrity of his students, who have established functioning Islamic communities throughout the Americas and elsewhere. He continues, despite his obstacles, to live his life as an open book, upholding all of the traditional Islamic teachings of justice, even if against oneself, and peaceful interaction among his students and their neighbors, as upright and progressive citizens in their countries and societies. We ask therefore, that any such material that is obviously shattering to his intentions for Muslim-Christian unity and brotherhood be ignored and rejected. It has been stated that the actors in this particular movie new of the Sheikh’s innocence before beginning its production, and completed it anyway.

Randall Bennett, the US security officer who investigated the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, has given a clean chit to leader Sheikh Gilani while elaborating how the journalist was abducted and then murdered in 2002.
In an interview to the US State Department, Bennett said that Sheikh Omar, who has been sentenced to death for murdering the US journalist, used Gilani’s name without bringing it to the knowledge of the latter.
“Sheikh Omar, who has quite a history involved in the kidnapping- the hijacking of airplanes out of India and affiliations with various hardcore jihadi organisations - had very carefully plotted and planned this kidnapping of Danny,” said Bennett, who was the US Regional Security Officer in Karachi during the time Pearl was kidnapped and later murdered in 2002.
“He had set it up where he had given Danny information and promised this interview with Sheikh Gilani. Sheikh Gilani, as it turned out, had no idea his name was even being used,” he added.
Bennett said in the interview, which coincided with the release of a film “A Mighty Heart,” which depicts the kidnapping and murder of Pearl, that Sheikh Omar used Gilani’s name to bait the WSJ reporter, who had been looking forward to this interview because it was a very “hot item,” the Dawn reported.
Bennett was quoted as saying that Richard Reed, the so-called shoe-bomber, who tried to bomb a Chicago-bound plane in 2002 with explosives hidden in his shoes, dominated the US media in those days and Pearl hoped to get some exclusive information about the bomber from this interview.
“So, when it came time, after two weeks of baiting and switching, Danny was at the Metropol Hotel standing outside the Village restaurant. His meeting was at 1900 hours, 7:00 pm. At 1911, he received a phone call. The phone call lasted till 1916.
“So in those five minutes, the investigation later revealed that Sheikh Omar, who was using the name of Bashir at this time, told Danny that ‘I’m sorry, he cannot come to see you again.’ This was maybe the sixth or seventh time they had baited and switched Danny on a meeting.
“They said, ‘He just cannot get away and we’ve tried and tried and it just hasn’t worked out. If you want the interview, he’s at the madrassa. We’ll pick you up and bring you here and then we’ll take you back, but he’s not going to be able to come and see you there,’” Bennett said.
Later, Pearl decided to go to the madrassa despite warnings from security personnel.
Bennett said he had explained to Pearl that all madrassas were essentially in dangerous locations. They typically had affiliations to the more radical elements. And, for Pearl to go to one of those meant he would be completely cut off from his communication and any safe haven or recourse.
“And I guess at that moment, Danny had a tough decision to make and he made the decision that he was going to go and do the interview,” he said, adding that the journalist was abducted thereafter.
He said Pearl could not be recovered because they learned about his abduction after 12 hours, which gave the kidnappers the time to take him out of the city. (ANI)

The New In “SANE” American Inquisition

There is a new “American Movement” afoot aimed at taking America back to the days of the Spanish rule under Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile. This new movement or should I say this current rehash of the same old intolerant religious fanatical terrorism is bent on making America “SANE”
The Society for American National Existence (SANE) is calling for the imprisonment of Americas’ Muslims for a term of no less than 2o years. The only crime would be the actual practice of Islamic principles. Those who refuse to adopt a so-called moderate version of Islam as dictated by these inquisitors would be deprived of their freedoms until they repented of said heresies. Those who convert or feign conversion to this “modern” version of Islam would be spared. These individuals would of course be required to turn in their more “radical brothers” who actually want to practice their faith in the “Land of the Free.”
The Inquisitions the ultimate face of religious intolerance and hatred.
Serious students of history know very well the story of the inquisitions which began during the decline and fall of the Roman Empire and lasted until 1834, when the last vestiges of Spanish state sponsored terrorism were finally eradicated. These were perhaps the darkest days of modern European history. Religious intolerance had reached such an extreme, that those unwilling to convert to Catholicism (the official state religion) were given the chance to repent or were forced to confess. In order to extract confessions physical torture was frequently used. The civil authorities ( since the church would not directly sully its hands with such affairs) made use of such painful methods as burning with live coals, piercing, stretching of limbs on the rack (both vertically and horizontally), and by crushing of fingers and toes. Those who were “belligerent” and refused to confess to heresy (and actually survived the torture) were normally either imprisoned for life or burned alive at the stake.
“The Spanish Inquisition was used for both political and religious reasons. Spain is a nation-state that was born out of religious struggle between numerous different belief systems including Catholicism, Islam, Protestantism and Judaism. Following the Crusades and the Reconquest of Spain by the Christian Spaniards the leaders of Spain needed a way to unify the country into a strong nation. Ferdinand and Isabella chose Catholicism to unite Spain and in 1478 asked permission of the pope to begin the Spanish Inquisition to purify the people of Spain. They began by driving out Jews, Protestants and other non-believers.”
The Society of Americans for National Existence” or SANE, under the partial leadership of Mr. David Gaubatz the “Director of Intelligence & Counter-terrorism” has as their immediate objective:
“[1] To conduct a thorough mapping and indexing of Shari’a in America. This will be the first of its kind Islamic threat analysis conducted on the US Homeland based upon open sources and intelligence gathering and specifically correlated with the adherence to Shari’a.
[2] To produce an interactive map that allows a macro- and micro-analysis of the current Shari’a-based Jihadists in the US, together with a fact-specific threat level analysis. This map will be updated bi-annually by a team of investigators, researchers and analysts working under the supervision of SANE’s senior officials.
[3] The detailed and person-specific information will be provided to the appropriate authorities, both governmental and civic, and will also be available upon subscription to the media, educational and research institutions, and other appropriate organizations, which will include the annual updates.”
This group of inquisitors intends to “conduct a thorough mapping and indexing of Shari’a in America”. They will employ “open source” and “intelligence gathering” (read domestic spying on private American citizens). This group of inquisitors will develop dossiers on Muslim community leaders, teachers, students, business people and private citizens. No one will be spared the inhumanities of having their right to privacy violated. Like victims of the Spanish inquisition, those who cooperate will be spare the penalty meted out by those who choose to actually practice Islam. During the Inquisition in Spain mere practice of Islam was enough to sentence one to life imprisonment at a minimum and at most a swift and painful death by impaling of by burning at the stake.
A recent example of the tactics used by this group of inquisitors may be found in their recent visit to the Dar ul Hijrah Masjid in Falls Church Virginia.
“Some weeks back when I attended Hispanic Open House at the Dar al Hijrah Masjid in Falls Church, VA a young white man who called himself Chris Gausbaz took his shahadah and the photo of that event is above. We have now found out that Chris was an undecover operative from the Mapping Shariah Project along with a man who may be his father named Paul ( David Gaubatz) who later took shahdah with the help of Sheikh Yusuf Estes and this has come out in Insight Magazine which is a Goebbelesque publictaion affiliate of the Washington Times…
The young man named Chris said he attended the Hipsanic event because he thought it was as good of a chance as any to publicly declare his shahadah after studying Islam per the request of his Egyptian girlfriend. Islam is no a private club, it is for all of humanity, and he we welcomed with open arms; but he took advantage and was deceitful and dishonest with the warm nature of the Muslim community.
The article claims that Imam Johari Abdul-Malik and Imam Shaker Elsayyed called for a Muslim takeover of America and the spread of sharia to America and that simple never ocurred,; but when you are speaking of Muslims you can lie and get away with it.
Chirs did not have the mannerism of any new Muslims I had ever met and this crossed my mind when I first saw him; but I gave him the benefit of the doubt as it is un-Islamic to be suspicous. However, when he began asking bizarre questions of Muslims about plans to establish a khilifa in America I became suspicous and backed off.” Umar Lee (www.umarlee.com)
As with any form of religious intolerance and fanaticism be it the fanaticism of these modern-day inquisitors, or the Spanish inquisitors led my Tomas de Torquemada they regard themselves and those who support them as the only SANE individuals in the society. Muslims have lived through such tyranny at the hands of Jews, Christians and Muslims. Recent Islamic history abounds with stories of torture, imprisonment, and mass executions reminiscent of the Spanish inquisitions. We only have to look at Bosnia, Palestine, Sudan, Libya, Kashmir, etc. to see the end result of such exclusivist thinking.
American Muslims are no stranger to the tactics of such fanatical home grown terrorists. The students of Al Imam Sheikh Sayyid Mubarik ‘Ali Gilani have been under attack by such groups for the past 30 years. Any rag tag group seeking to make a name for itself or to get on the map, will stage some sort of protest at their door steps or conduct some sort of so-called secret investigation into the doings of the Muslims of the American and the International Qur’anic Open University. The majority of Americas’ Muslims have not had to endure the slander, the infiltrations, the entrapments, the provocations by implanted undercover agent provocateurs. We have endured and survived thus far with the permission of Allah and the guidance of our Sheikh. Our survival has been as a direct result of our actually adhering to the Divine principals of Islam in our daily lives.
Perhaps soon they will come and take me away as I am proud to be a practicing Muslim, adherent to the Hanafi school of Islamic Jurisprudence and a follower of the school of inner Islamic Spiritual Purification re-established by the Noble Sheikh Sayyidinaa Abdul Qadir Gilani al Baghdadi ( May Allah be pleased with him). I am most fortunate to his Noble Son, and the Son of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad Pace and Blessings of Allah be upon him Al Imam Sheikh Sayyid Mubarik Ali Jilani as my personal Leader (Imam) and Guide (Murshid).
Americas Muslims, both indigenous and immigrant must stand together against this terroristic threat. Our Sheikh has taught us and rightly so, that we must practice Islam in letter and spirit if we are to survive in this world with any semblance of dignity and respect. This is our country, we will not flee to Mexico or Canada as freedom is our right. We end with these words from the “SANE” people and thank God that we are counted as among the insane in their eyes. Oh Allah please protect us from such bigotry, hatred, evil and blindness, ameen.
SANES’ Insane Resolution
“Whereas, adherence to Islam as a Muslim is prima facie evidence of an act in support of the overthrow of the US. Government through the abrogation, destruction, or violation of the US Constitution and the imposition of Shari’a on the American People.
THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED THAT:
[1] A “Muslim” shall be defined as any person who adheres to Islam or acts in support of the adherence to Islam or who makes any written or oral declaration in support of the adherence to Islam. The “Muslim Nation” or “Umma” shall be defined as all Muslims.
[2] “Adherence to Islam” shall be defined as any act, including any written or oral declaration, in support of Shari’a or in furtherance of the imposition of Shari’a within any territory of the United States of America. “Territory of the United States of America” shall be defined as any territory under the civilian or military control or governance of personnel acting for and on behalf of the US Government.
[3] “Shari’a” shall be defined as any set of rules, precepts, instructions, or edicts which emanate directly or indirectly from the god of Allah or the prophet Mohammed and which include directly or indirectly the encouragement of any person to support in any way the abrogation, destruction, or violation of the US Constitution or the destruction of the national existence of the United States of America. Any rule, precept, instruction, or edict arising from the extant rulings of any of the five authoritative schools of Islamic jurisprudence (the Hanafi, the Maliki, the Shafi’i, the Hanbali, or the Ja’afariya school or fiqh) are prima facie Shari’a without any further evidentiary showing.
[4] It shall be a felony punishable by 20 years in prison to knowingly act in furtherance of, or to support the, adherence to Islam.
[5] The Congress of the United States of America shall declare the US at war with the Muslim Nation or Umma.”
For three decades Americas Muslims by and large turned a deaf ear to the many injustices perpetrated against Sheikh Sayyid Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani. The Muslims of the Americas over the years have been and shunned by most of the major Islamic organizations in the United States. Many bought in to the lies and thought that by distancing themselves they would be safe. This is not an attack on the liberties and freedoms of just one group of Muslims. It is an attack on the liberty and freedom of all Americas’ Muslims. Many Americans still think (even in light of recent the CIA “Family Jewels” dirty trick revelations) that surely the lies and slanders which have persisted for 30 years must have had some basis in truth. Lies no matter how oft-repeated nonetheless remain lies. How long will America’s people allow themselves to be manipulated, corralled and deprived of their rights by the politics of fear?

It is essential for a Muslim to have knowledge and Adab (Islamic conduct /etiquette). We use the word Ilm instead of knowledge because the Islamic definition of Ilm is very specific and according to Holy Quran Majid and Hadis is called knowledge. Ilm is compulsory for every Muslim to acquire and practice. So when the Holy Last Messenger (SAS) said, “Seek knowledge even if you have to go to China”, by this is meant know1ede of Hadis and fiqah. So one should not be misled by those people who go to far off countries and seek useless knowledge and they quote this Hadith to support their position. They, in reality, are misquoting the above hadith. Islam makes a distinction between knowledge that is beneficial and knowledge which is not beneficial. Rasulullah (SAS) said, “I seek refuge in Allah from an knowledge which is not Nafdi (beneficial).” In Islam, there is a distinction between the two types of knowledge, whereas in the West, there is no distinction and by knowledge, it is meant every type of pursuit, research, or investigation done by someone.
The basis of Holy Quran Majid and Islam rest on knowledge, search, and arriving at the ultimate reality by observing the wonders of the creation by contemplating on the signs of Allah Ta ‘Ala and their significance and symbols. Any facet of knowledge which takes one closer to his Creator is the true Ilm. Any knowledge, such as materialism, that takes one away from his Creator is evil. Materialism is called a science by people in the West, but i n the Holy Quran it is called falsehood, and is, in fact, the same old paganism and atheism of old.
Everything in the universe follows a natural order and pattern. From a cell to the celestial bodies, we see a pattern and design created by The Almighty to make us happy, educate us, and give us wisdom. Just as there is a beautiful pattern in the universe and sky, there is also a very beautiful and awe inspiring pattern of conduct to be seen in human beings. The epitome of beauty was seen in Khairi Khalqi (The Best of Creation), The Mercy to all the Worlds, The Holy Last Messener Muhammad (SAS). Allah says the Holy Last Messenger’s (SAS) conduct “is best and that his sunnah is beautiful.” Allah enjoins us to follow his sunnah if we want to attain the station of a lover of Allah.
El Sheikh has stated in his book Futuhati Muhammadiyah in the chapter on Adab and Ikhlaq of The Holy Last Messenger (SAS), “Thus all those who follow the path of perfection, Ikhlaqi Muhammadi, shall become a beloved of Allah and shall be blessed with quick results. Verily, He loves them and they love Him.” It is the objective of the Holy Quran to impart education of etiquette and conduct of the Holy Last Messenger (SAS) so that through him, all of humanity is taught etiquette. Hence, The Holy Last Messenger (SAS) said, “I am the messenger to complete the evolution of perfect conduct.” Then the Holy Last Messenger (SAS) educated people along these lines. When Allah had perfected conduct in the person of The Holy Last Messenger (SAS), He said, “Verily (O Messenger) your conduct is best. How kind and merciful is Allah The Almighty that He Himself praises the conduct of His Beloved (SAS). So we see that the Adab and Ikhlaq of The Holy Last Messenger (SAS) is the best in all the worlds, for all the times to come. No individual of any race, from any nation on earth, is praised by Allah in His book the way He praises Rasulullah (SAS). Rasulullah’s (SAS) adab is best. He is the only model for Muslims to follow. Adab is that aspect of the Deen which is the vehicle for a Muslim to reach the station of a muhsin and further.
Muslims living in the Americas have not been instructed in depth about Adab. Most of us read about it in books, but very few of us realize how compulsory practicing Adab is in reference to being a good Muslim and entering Jannah. We all are quick to say to our brothers and sisters “You have bad Adab”, but very few of us look at our own conduct and pass proper judgment on ourselves. May Allah help and guide us to the realization of the beauty of the knowledge and practice of Adab.
