If all the oceans were ink and all the trees were pens never could they convey the love and gratitude that I have for my Beloved Sheikh Sultan Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani. My personal journey began in the early 70’s when I embraced the religion of Islam. Although Islam gave me clarity of purpose and a reconnection to my Creator I was still in need of deeper answers to some of my soul stirring questions.
In 1981 I became a Talibah (student) of His eminence Sultan Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani. The loving attention, patience and nurturing I received under the guidance of this Falcon of Allah, Sultan of Awyliyah (Saints) produced a rebirth within me. There was an awareness of being in the presence of my Creator at all times that I had taken for granted. The realization that my Lord loved me and was waiting for me to love him fully overwhelmed me. I now worship my Creator with a clear understanding that He is closer to me than my jugular vein. My Sheikh has bestowed an unlimited fountain of knowledge and deep and ancient wisdom upon his Talibeen (students). These treasures enable the seeker to travel though this world and reach the next world in harmony with his Lord who created him. If a person would put aside their bias and come to My Sheikh with an open heart secrets of the creation and the opening of inner faculties will take place, One of the most important lessons that I have learned from my Sheikh is that our Creator designed this world with a master plan. He was a hidden treasure who wanted to become known therefore He created the light from himself known as Noor of Muhammad peace and billions of blessing of Allah be upon Him (many people will not understand this)! This light when it finally manifested in the physical world as Nabi Muhammad peace and billions of blessing of Allah be upon Him, was the perfect model for mankind to follow. His excellence, nobility and praiseworthy characteristics were demonstrated on a daily basis with witnesses recording his every action for mankind to study and emulate. This is why, in the Holy Quran, Allah states that you have in Muhammad peace and billions of blessing of Allah be upon Him a perfect example for you to follow.
The Shaytan (Satan) is to man an avowed enemy. He has entrapped weak and evil individuals to create lies, deceptions and treacherous campaigns against the religion of Islam and the Blessed Nabi Muhammad peace and billions of blessing of Allah be upon Him. This campaign of hatred continues up till today. Our beloved Sheikh has been targeted. Allah and the angels will defend him against these malicious attacks. Oh ye! Who lie and slander the Sultan come and meet him, to know him is to love him. You will find yourself in love with a friend of your Lord. He was sent to this world to remind you that one day you must return home to your Creator therefore prepare for this eminent meeting. Repent and amend your conduct and live a righteous life in service to humankind. Zahidah Begum |
