This is overwhelming and very emotional for me to relate how my blessed Murshid Kamil Sultan Mohyuddin Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani has impacted my life. It is through him that I found the way to live a truly successful life in this world and the hereafter. He lifted me up out of the darkness of misguidance and gently, with much love, generosity, kindness, tolerance, patience, understanding, indeed with every imaginable excellent quality that the task demands, did he revive, educate and inspire me. Even up to today, he constantly bestows, for the sake of Allah, by the Mercy of the Almighty, his unconditional love and guidance, inviting all to truth and goodness, be he Muslim or non Muslim, without asking or expecting anything in return. He taught me to “practice Islam with sincerity, in letter and spirit” and that “hearts are won with love”; that we must live as honorable, self respecting, dignified and productive members of society, exemplifying the luminous, noble conduct of the Holy Last Messenger Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).

He means so much to me that I cannot find the proper words to express my love and gratitude. In every corner of my life, he is present; a lantern of light, showering me always with his love and guidance. He nurtures me spiritually in a way that even my parents or no one would ever have been able to. In his teachings, one finds opened the doors to eternal life. He holds the elixir of life. When you follow him, he will wipe away all your fears and introduce you to a brilliant new life of Allah consciousness. He is a very exalted and very special personality, the most perfect Murshid and the finest and best man on the face of the Earth. Shukr Allah, thank you, my dear Murshid, for everything.
